If you have come to believe
that strategic planning is only for big corporate houses then you are sadly
mistaken. Big or small, all businesses need strategic planning to be able to
compete and survive in the marketplace. The market is a cruel place that spares
no one, especially entrepreneurs that develop a know-it-all attitude and tend
to ignore what is going on around them.
You probably know all that that there is to know about your business. But the
fact is that this is a fast world where business environments change so quickly
that you may not be able to keep pace with the growing trends unless you have a
well thought of plan in place. This is where business planning can help.
Strategic planning is the process of understanding the strengths of your
business, accepting weaknesses and correlating them with the opportunities that
exist. It is a time consuming process but should be done on a regular basis if
you want your business to grow at the desired speed.

Affiliates
are companies that promote the merchant. Affiliates bring what the merchant has
to offer to the consumer. That’s me and you.
What separates Affiliates from one another is the way in which they go about bringing merchants products to the consumers. There are six different ways in which this can be achieved;
1. Personal websites and
content belonging to a certain niche.
Affiliates run websites that cater to a certain group of people. In this way, you can get quality traffic and more business. Web sites that would come under this category are; websites with certain hobbies and topics, games, travel related websites.
2. Loyalty Programs &
Reward websites
Websites that create a
faithful user base which shares their profit with them. They can literally give
them cash or they use a reward system that builds up points that contribute to
discounted items later on. The idea is that by giving them money or rewarding
them with points, they build a loyal customer base. These users are happy to
come back time and again to purchase from this website because they feel they
are “getting something back”
